While every day since Eli took his life has been a struggle for his family, friends and community, we all try to draw a little light from the darkness. In order to honor his memory and the effect his life had on those who came in contact with him, Eli’s family established a donor-advised fund within the Kalamazoo Community Foundation (KCF) designated as the Eli Verne Memorial Fund.
From this fund, we are able to make grants to charitable organizations working on issues that Eli cared deeply about: the environment, animals, and at-risk children. |
